''What is the difference between an
outdoor fan and a regular indoor fan?''
The difference is not in the appearance of the fan, but
internally.  An outdoor fan's components are sealed
completely to prevent moistures entry.  The motor is sealed
completely and the motor housing is sealed as well.  The
blades on an outdoor rated fan are not typical wooden
blades but rather a fiberglass and plastic composite
material.  Wooden blades will warp, twist and even crack
when exposed to outdoor elements or extremely humid
climates.

I/O is an indoor/outdoor fan and is also rated
for use in DAMP locations outdoors.
172x20MM motor size.  I/O has a 15* degree
blade pitch.  I/0 has both a built in UP &
DOWN light which is controlled by a remote
control that is included with I/O.  52" blade
diameter.  I/0 is available in 3 colors.

The Oasis by Regency
The Oasis is a wet location fan suitable for
extremely humid conditions and direct
water contact.  Oasis will interchange light
kits (like all of our fans).  Oasis comes in 4
colors.  The 52" blades pictured here are
optional.  Oasis comes with a standard
shaped outdoor blade (pictured below).  
Oasis has a 188x15MM motor and a 14*
degree blade pitch.
