| To be classified as a ''large fan'' it must meet a few statistical benchmarks. Motor size of the fan must be large enough to sustain the load that will be placed on the fan. A motor size of 188x18MM or higher is considered a large motor. Blade pitch of the fan is the next requirement. A blade pitch of 14 degrees or higher is required to handle the 188x18MM motor in order to achieve maximum air movement. These fans are especially good for great rooms, family rooms and large master bedrooms. Any room larger than 15x15ft, a large fan should be considered. The larger the fan, the lower speed you have to run the fan on which means less electricity used. |
